LO3: Explain how the created adverts meet the codes and conventions
Looking at existing campaigns I have successfully captured the conventions of an fashion accessory advertising through my;
Poster:
Here is an example of an existing 'Chanel' simple poster targeted to advertise a Chanel bag.
Looking at my poster I feel as if I have successful advertised this bag through presenting a clear image of the bag and it being one of the first things my audience will be drawn to when featuring it.
I have also used appropriate/ suitable model to advertise my the vintage leather bag. Also looking at the Chanel poster, the model looks as if she would wear the bag and is suited towards her style being classy, 'girly and high class.
The logo featured in my poster is very clear and is the brands logo making it created towards the style of the brand. The colour theme is dark and relates tho the colours of my logo/ brand (sticking to the brand). The Chanel poster features its logo in its traditional font. However, the logo is not as big and bold as mine due to the Chanel brand already being quite popular.
I also included the website link for my audience to know where they can find the product or any more details.Again, Chanel being a popular brand looking for details is not hard and is not needed.
Social media - Instagram
Looking at existing fashion accessories brand I found it common for them to have and post on social media. Popular platforms such as Instagram where their digital native audience will be exposed to their adverts. I had featured an image of my model wearing the vintage leather bag app as it allows the audience to be presented with what the bag looks like and style etc.
The use of social media for fashion brands is common as they cater towards their intended digital natives.

Copyright
Intellectual Property right- All content created and material belongs to the vintage leather bag company.
There are no ethical issues in our campaign so far. Such as offensive content. We have avoided ethical issues through using models from different ethnicities and genders to clearly portray the variety of different backgrounds. Also we will fairly present people form all background, ages , gender , disability etc. Without being unfair, negative or stereotypical.

Ofcom is funded by fees from industry for regulating broadcasting and communications networks, and grant-in-aid from the Government. ... Ofcom is the regulator for the UK communications industries, with responsibilities across television, radio, on demand, postal, telecommunications and wireless communications services. https://www.ofcom.org.uk/about-ofcom/policies-and-guidelines

The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) is the UK's independent advertising regulator. The ASA makes sure ads across UK media stick to the advertising rules (the Advertising Codes)
OFCOM help protect and fairly regulate advertisements being distribute. I have self regulated my material for the vintage leather bag campaign through producing suitable and appropriate content following the rules set by OFCOM and The ASA.
Asking permission from our models to feature also follows by not disturbing or offending anyone's privacy.
I have also created content for the vintage leather bag company that truthfully present the brand and does not falsely represent/ mislead audience as this would not be allowed and false advertising. We want the brand to be honest an not ruin the representation through receiving negative publicity.
