Key Words


Connotation- Is a feeling you associate when a word or picture is present to you.


Denotation
 - Is the literal or primary meaning of a word, in contrast to the feelings or ideas that the word suggests.


Demographic
 - Is the structure of people


Iconography
-he visual images and symbols used in a work of art or the study or interpretation of these.


Branding- the font, colour and symbol that represent a company.



Ideal self- Carl Rogers believed that for a person to achieve self-actualization they must be in a state of congruence. This means that self-actualization occurs when a person's “ideal self” (i.e. who they would like to be) is congruent with their actual behaviour (self-image).


Intertextuality- the relationship between texts, especially literary ones


Pastiche- imitate the style of (an artist or work)
